Dr. Moshe Terdiman is a Middle Eastern Studies scholar who is an expert on the Red Sea, the Horn of Africa, Islam in Africa, the relations between the Gulf countries and Africa and environmental security in the Arab and Muslim world and in Africa. Currently. He is a research fellow in the Israel – Africa Relations Institute as well as a director and founder of the Internet Research Institute for the Study of Islam and Muslims in Africa and the Institute for Environmental Security and Well-Being.
